Photography is my passion and I believe I can communicate to a wide audience with my images – without having to say a word. My photos portray my inner feelings and the beautiful experiences I collect from around me.

I am so excited about the expedition. This feeling reminds me of my childhood when I couldn’t get any sleep the night before a picnic day.

Curious by nature, I constantly seek out opportunities to challenge myself and gain new experiences. Taking part in the Polar Night Magic expedition in Finland is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for me to take part in great adventure and find a source of inspiration for the future!

I believe I can offer a unique and personal story to the group of fellow outdoor enthusiasts who take part in this exciting expedition.

I look forward to take this adventure with you!

As a travelling photographer I’ve been around the world and visited more than 60 countries. I’ve always dreamt of spending more time in arctic conditions because I find great beauty in snow and coldness.

In Finland I expect to see some amazing nature and have exciting photographic opportunities which I know I can make amazing images out of.

As a kid I was not really an ‘outdoorholic’. Instead I did a lot of computer stuff. That changed in 2008 when I bought my first ‘real’ camera and started to see the world differently. The magic of capturing moments on a sensor and preserve it that way is what totally draws my attention to nature.

In Finland I expect to experience untouched wilderness and pure nature. I am hopeful to see the beautiful Northern Lights with my own eyes, my favourite husky standing next to me.

I like to call myself a ‘perpetual beginner’, a term coined by a close friend. My shoes are rarely dry and my bike is rarely clean but I am always finding new challenges or ideas to burn all the excess energy I seem to have.

When it comes to choosing a summer or winter holiday, the snow filled calls of the mountains always wins for me. Wrapped up with as many layers as I squeeze on I am as happy in snow as most people are on a sandy beach. For me, the itinerary of this expedition has been stolen from my wildest dreams.
